Got questions! We’ve got answers!
What is YourSwimLog.com all about?
YourSwimLog.com is a website dedicated to providing valuable content and resources for swimmers of all levels.
We aim to give swimmers the information and tools they need to excel in their swimming journey.
This includes a wide range of tips and information including swimming workouts, training advice, mental training tips, and equipment reviews.
Who is behind YourSwimLog.com?
YourSwimLog.com was founded by Olivier Poirier-Leroy as a small ecommerce website to promote the swimmer’s logbook, YourSwimBook.
Since then, the site has grown exponentially in terms of content and product offerings.
Poirier-Leroy is the primary content creator, backed by several regular writers including professional swim coaches, current and former national team members, and various specialists including strength and conditioning experts, dietitians, pool equipment experts, and more.
Who is Olivier Poirier-Leroy?
Olivier Poirier-Leroy is the founder of YourSwimLog.com. He is an author, former national level-swimmer, certified personal trainer, swim coach, two-time Olympic Trials qualified, and the proud dog dad of Beau, a golden retriever.
Poirier-Leroy is relentlessly interested in swimming and swimming at a high level. Whether that means writing out performance-boosting swim workouts or reviewing and comparing swim goggles, if it smells like chlorine, he’s all over it.
When he isn’t writing for YourSwimLog.com, Poirier-Leroy can be found swimming, working out, and working on his next book.

Do you have a newsletter or email updates for subscribers?
YourSwimLog.com has a twice-a-week newsletter that regularly goes out to over 31,000 subscribers, including swimmers, swim parents, and swim coaches.
Emails include swim training tips, motivational content, and subscriber-exclusive offers on our books.
You can sign up for the newsletter here, and as a welcome gift, will receive a collection of swim workouts from some of the top swimmers and swim coaches on the planet.
Are the swim equipment reviews on YourSwimLog.com sponsored or unbiased?
All of the reviews and testing of swim equipment on YourSwimLog.com are done from our unfiltered point of view.
This doesn’t always get us a lot of love from swim brands (we’ve had two brands cancel affiliate partnerships with us because they didn’t like our reviews) but we are vocal about the equipment we like.
We receive commissions from certain partners, including Amazon (see our Amazon Associates disclosure here) and SwimOutlet, at no additional cost to you, but we do not solicit the input of brands when reviewing swim and pool gear.
The stuff that we test, review, and recommend are the same swim gear and equipment that you’ll find in our swim bag and pool-side.
Can I submit my own content or ideas to YourSwimLog.com?
We are always happy to hear from fellow swim enthusiasts.
If you feel you have something genuine and unique to offer the swimming community, whether that’s a funny listicle, a swim workout that helped you progress as a swimmer, or you are an expert looking to reach a wider audience, reach out to us via our contact page and editorial contacts and we can discuss if we are a good fit for your writing goals.
Keep in mind that we do not respond to requests from agencies or PR companies, and will definitely not respond if you are just looking to promote your website or product.
How do I follow YourSwimLog.com on social media?

How do I advertise on your site?
YourSwimLog.com does not offer advertising, whether that is through banner ads or native advertising models like paid links or guest posts, on YourSwimLog.com.
This is a point of principle; we strive to serve you in the best way possible, and a website choked up with ads all over the place is a terrible way to consume swimming content.
